Cycling BC to Hire New Executive Director as Richard Wooles Moves On

October 30, 2015 (Vancouver, BC) – Cycling BC is hiring a new Executive Director, to continue building on the successes of the organization under the leadership of Richard Wooles, current Executive Director. Richard Wooles, a former Olympic coach, has elected to refocus his energies on sport body relations, athlete, youth, and coach development.

The Board of Directors is now in the process of implementing a leadership succession plan to further enhance services to its members and develop new initiatives.

The Executive Director will be required to provide strategic direction and be responsible for the general oversight of the day-to-day business operations of Cycling BC. It is expected that the new Executive Director will be a proven team leader, consensus builder, and will bring a history of leading successful projects to completion.
