Cycling BC Bike Swap 2009 – Mar. 20-22

February 28, 2009 (Vancouver, B.C.) – Do you have a bike, wheel or set of forks you would like to sell? Or is time to upgrade to something new? Stop by the Cycling BC Bike Swap at The Great Outdoors Show on March 20, 21 and 22 at the TradeX in Abbotsford.

What is a Bike Swap?

As part of The Great Outdoors Show in Abbotsford, the bike swap gives you the perfect platform to sell your bike and buy something new.

If you have bikes, frames, forks, etc to sell, then the Bike Corral is your best option. Purchase a price tag ($2 each) and drop off your bike at the designated drop off time.

Your sale items will be on show from Friday to Sunday. We at Cycling BC will do all the work for you and you’ll take home 85% of the final sale!
Earn money for your club! Volunteer!

Whether you are an avid bike nut, or just interested in helping out the community, this is event is perfect for you!

Cycling BC will be donating 50% of our commissions to the bike clubs that come out to help at the Bike Swap.

How to Sell Your Bike

The seller sets the thrice but each piece of equipment must have a Cycling BC price tag. Each tag is 2$ per item. There are two price tag options:

BLACK Tags:
Black tags remain at set cost throughout the entire weekend

RED Tags:
Red tags will automatically be reduced by 25% during the RED TAG Blowout on Sunday March 22.

After that, let us do the rest! If your equipment sells, your cheque will be mailed within 3 business days. All unsold equipment must be picked up between 4p.m.- 6p.m. on Sunday March 22, 2009. All unclaimed equipment will be donated to a local charity.

How to Buy a Bike

We will have new and gently used bikes and equipment for sale.

– Cash
– Cheque
