July 16, 2006 (Milton, ON) — Well a scorching day didn’t hold back the riders as they battled it out for Ontario Cup 4X supremecy. Those who qualified to the finals had to find enough gas for one more round in the blazing sun of 34 degrees.

In the junior men category plenty battled it to the final, but alas after losing 10lbs of weight (just joking, kinda) in water it was Tyler Simpson (Team Ontario BMX rider) who schooled the field, Kyle “I’m to tall for my bike” Griffiths pulled out 2nd and San Amdur was 3rd

It was nearly a sweep in the Elite men’s final with three of the four spots going to Team Dropmachine/Commencal with Brandon Cassell pulling off the win, Primary’s Mike Towers pulled out 2nd and Chris Dufault crossed the line in 3rd.
