September 15, 2011 (Las Vegas, NV) – Katerina Nash (Cze) Luna Pro Team and Lars van der Haar (Ned) Rabobank-Giant battled to the top spots in the elite women’s and men’s races, respectively in the Cross After Dark series opener in Las Vegas last night. Pepper Harlton (Can) Juventus was top Canuck in the women’s competition with an eighth-place ride, while Geoff Kabush (Can) Maxxis-Rocky Mountain grabbed 13th spot for the best Canadian men’s result.
