“We thought that by creating a vintage cycling festival in Creemore we would pay homage to the love of cycling in the area while allowing folks to experience more than just the ride,” says Karen Gaudino, Director of Marketing at Creemore Springs.
Turas Mór is a 61km, non-competitive cycling event on gravel and non-gravel roads through some of the most scenic cycling areas in Clearview Township, Simcoe County. The challenging, yet memorable ride will be highlighted with two rest spots where the riders will be treated to food and beverages featuring local and headline chefs and suppliers.
Cyclists will be welcomed back to the Creemore Springs Brewery with lunch hosted by local caterer, Men with Knives. To complete the après hospitality, people may enjoy a fine selection of Creemore beer and music by Frank Deresti Duo from 12-4PM.
Not riding or just visiting the area for the experience? The village of Creemore will be alive with activity with an early Farmer’s Market (8:30AM-12:30PM) and the first Vintage Festival featuring live music, entertainment and great food offerings along main street, Mill St (9AM-5PM). Creemore Springs Brewery is open from 10AM-6PM with tours offered on the hour from 12-4PM. For more information, visit here.
About Creemore Springs
Established in 1987, Creemore Springs is one of Ontario’s original craft brewers, taking great pride to make beer the traditional way: brewed in small batches, in an open flame copper kettle with its own local spring water, the finest barley malt, imported noble hops and select yeast, with no preservatives, no pasteurization and no compromises. The original Creemore Springs brewery is located in a century-old hardware store on the main street of Creemore ON. Visitors are welcomed with beer tastings at the tasting bar, brewery tours, a large selection of product available at the charming retail store, an outdoor beer garden, and small town hospitality. website I FB I Twitter
