Coupe de la Paix Stages 1, 2 – Flash

June 19, 2008 (Laval, QC) – Arnaud Papillon (Team Volkswagen) and Joelle Numainville (ESGL 93 GSD Gestion) won Stage 1 in Laval on Wednesday at the 2008 Coupe de la Paix 4-stage series. It was especially sweet for Numainville who was raised in Laval, just north of Montreal.

On today’s Stage 2 in Mascouche, QC it was Eric Boily (VW) winning the men’s 50km race while Jennie Trew (Vanderkitten Racing) took the women’s 40km event.

The next race, Stage 3, is this Sunday, June 22 in Montreal North with a 60km race for the men and a 45km race for the women. The series concludes on Monday, June 23.
