August 2, 2006 – A big congratulations to all the young athletes that attended the 2006 BC Summer Games in Kamloops, BC. An impressive weekend of racing with all of the participants competing in multi-descipline cycling that included a cross country race, a road race and a time trial. The kids had a great time at the event too! With accomodations at the local high school that were close to the race courses, they had a chance to get to know kids their own age with similar interests from all different regions of the province.

Kamloops was extremely hospitable, and their volunteer staff was very accomodating. Events such as dances were held every evening of the Games, so there was never a dull moment!

A big ‘Thank you!’ to the Zone Reps, the coaching staff and the parents that made this weekend possible and memorable!
