City of Vancouver to Build a Dozen New Bike Lanes in Next 5 Years

December 11, 2015   (Vancouver, BC) – Last night, Vancouver City Council approved a proposal to build 12 new bike lanes in the next five years, part of the city’s Transportation 2040 plan, reports cbc.ca. The new routes are planned for major city streets, including Richards, Bute, Smithe and Nelson streets, as well as Commercial Drive and the Granville Street Bridge. Read the full article here.
