April 10, 2009 (Le Mans, France) – David Le Lay (Fra) Agritubel took the overall final GC of the Circuit Cycliste Sarthe after the fifth and final stage today, a 195km race from Pré-en-Pail to Le Mans, France. Jean-Eudes Demaret (Fra) Cofidis, Le Credit En Ligne took the stage victory. Canada’s Michael Barry (Columbia-Highroad) did not start the final stage to prepare for Paris Roubaix on Sunday.
