CCA AGM 2011 Positions for Election

September 27, 2011 (Winnipeg, MB) – The Canadian Cycling Association has struck a Nominations Committee to seek out qualified candidates for various positions on its Board of Directors and Committees.

The following positions will be filled at the October 30, 2011, Annual General Meeting to
be held in Winnipeg, MB.

1)  Board of Directors
Director at Large – Two (2) Positions
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of  three (3) years experience in a professional
or elected function in cycling.  

Program Committees

2) High Performance Comnmittee
National Team Program Representative (2 year term – Odd)
Experience with National program as athlete, coach.  

Paracycling Representative (2 year term – Odd)
Experience with paracycling programs as athlete, coach.  

3)  Events Commitee
Mountain Bike Representative (2 year term – Odd)
MTB race organization experience.  

BMX Representative (2 year term – Odd)
BMX race organization experience.

4)  Officials’ Commitee
Committee Chair (2 year term – Odd)
International level official.  

Mountain Bike Representative (2 year term – Odd)
International MTB official.
