August 22, 2007 – Pedal has learned that the CCA has selected the team that will represent Canada at the Olympic MTB Test Event in Beijing on September 22, 2007. Marie Hélène Prémont (Can) Rocky Mountain-Haywood, Kiara Bisaro (Can) Opus and Catharine Pendrel (Can) Norco Factory Team will make up the women’s team, while Max Plaxton (Can) Rocky Mountain-Haywood will be the sole Canadian man to get a chance to race on the 2008 Olympic MTB XC course.
