Canadian Results from Europe – Anderson 11th at Volta ao Alentejo, Houle 28th at Dwars door Vlaanderen

March 25, 2015 – Canada’s Ryan Anderson (Team Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies) is off to a good start in Portugal at the Volta ao Alentejo / Liberty Seguros finishing 11th on Stage 1 from Portalegre to Castelo de Vide, 143.7km. Fellow Canuck Hugo Houle (AG2R La Mondiale) was 28th today in Belgium at the 200.2km Dwars door Vlaanderen from Roeselare to Waregem. Finally Christian Meier (Orica GreenEdge) is 79th and Ryder Hesjedal (Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling Team) is 133rd overall working for their teammates following Stage 3 at the Volta a Catalunya in Spain.
