Canadian DH Nationals Junior and Elite Brief Results

July 24, 2011 (Panorama Mountain Village, BC) – Here are some initial results from the 2011 Canadian DH Nationals held today at Panorama Mountain Village. In the Junior competitions it was Lauren Rosser (BC) Cycling BC/Shimano Young Guns winning the Junior Women’s title while fastest qualifier Kyle Sangers (ON) PerformX/Devinci took the Junior Expert Men’s national championship. Sangers had the fastest time overall.

For the Elites it was Claire Buchar (BC) Kovarik Racing reclaiming the title from Micayla Gatto (BC) Cycling BC/Shimano Young Guns who DNF’d while Andrew Mitchell (BC) Dunbar/Devinci defended his title in the Elite Men’s race.

2. Casey Brown (BC) Independant  3:58.13
3. Miranda Miller (BC) Cycling BC/SRAM/SantaCruz/Pinkbike 3:58.38
