Canada’s Gulevich, Shandro and Vanderham Sign with Dakine

April 22, 2009 (Hood River, Ore.) – Dakine, the leader in action sports accessories, is proud to announce that three of its top mountain bikers, Geoff Gulevich, Andrew Shandro, and Thomas Vanderham, have signed-on to ride Dakine bike clothing in addition to its packs and gloves.

Building upon the success of the jersey program, Dakine has added a new line of bike shorts for spring “š09. The Dakine designers work closely with the team in order to make the best product possible. “Dakine is a great company that has supported me for a number of years,” says Vanderham. “I’m stoked to work more closely with them on the new line of bike clothing.”

Dakine’sspring “š09 bike short collection includes three men’sstyles. The 8 TRACK and SYNCLINE both feature moisture wicking polyester mesh liner, back stretch panel, inner leg vents and a gusseted crotch for increased range of motion. The CHORUS is a longer, six pocket cargo shell short. Each short also features double stitched seams and triple stitched critical seams for added durability.

Jerseys for the season are available in short-sleeve, ≤ sleeve, and sleeveless versions with subtle all-over prints. Featuring moisture wicking bird eye polyester, anti-bacterial fabric treatment and an eyewear chamois sewn into the interior sideseam, all jerseys are designed with performance and comfort in mind.
