Canada’s Catherine Ouellette Joins Optum Pro Cycling for 2016

November 25, 2015 – The Optum Pro Cycling women’s team has announced that it has signed Canada’s Catherine Ouellette to its 2016 roster. Ouellette will join fellow Canucks Jasmin Glaesser, Kirsti Lay, Katherine Maine, and Sara Poidevin.

“We are pleased to announce one more rider for the 2016 women’s team. Catherine Ouellette completes the Orange and Black squad for 2016,” posted Optum Pro Cycling on its Twitter feed @OPTUMpbKBS.

In the original press release announcing the 2016 roster (read it here), Performance Director Jonas Carney said: “We will compete extensively in North American UCI and NRC events including criteriums,” added Carney. “The main objectives will be the USPRO TTT, Criterium, TT and Road Race Championships, and of course the WorldTour races in California and Philadelphia. The team should be well balanced and have the ability to compete at a high level in all road disciplines.”
