June 25, 2011 (Bromont, QC) – Myriam Nicole (Fra) Riding Addiction/Commencal topped the women’s field at round #2 of the Canada DH Cup in Bromont on Saturday with Miranda Miller (Can) Cycling BC in second and Micayla Gatto (Can) Team Young Guns third on the podium. Junior DH Worlds Champ Lauren Rosser (Team Young Guns) who was the fastest rider in round #1 finished 4th.

Australia’s Mitchell Delfs (Factory Kona/Globe/Smith) took the men’s DH race over Canada’s Hans Lambert (Pivot Cycles) in second with France’s Romain Paulhan (Giant) in 3rd.

Vaea Verbeeck (Intense Cycles-Fox Racing Shox-Mavic) who crashed earlier causing a temporary course shut down will be ok but won’t be riding for awhile – we join the cycling community in wishing her a speedy recovery.
