August 31, 2006 — Here’s some new information and reminders for the Calabogie Road Classic road race which will be held Sunday, September 10.

– Intellicoach has offered up a mid-race prime in the amount of $150 which will be awarded on lap 10.

– Everyone on the Calabogie Motorsports Park site must sign a waiver. We’re going to try to get a softcopy of the waiver up on our website soon so that folks can fill them out in advance. Otherwise they’ll be made available by the parking volunteers on the day of the event.

– Please remember that this year we are only holding one Open category race (a la Italian Festival GP AKA Preston). This means there is one start with all the categories racing at once against each other. No distinction will be made at the finish.

– Registration is on site only that morning and no day permits will be available. You MUST have a UCI road license to participate.

Next year when we have more time to organize we plan on hosting a full multi-category race.
