Feb 4, 2003 (Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia) – Grame Brown took the sprint of yesterday's stage by a full bike length, with Canada's Gord Fraser having to settle for 16th. Fraser was active early in the race taking intermediate sprints but seemed to be boxed in on the final run. Canada's Roland Green wears the Mountain Jersey again and will definitely get the chance to test his legs once more as the race moves toward the hills in the next few days.
