Brown Again – O’Neill Unlucky

February 6, 2003 – Timing is everything, they say. On the longest day of the tour, Saturn rider, Nathan O'Neill, crashed just short of the 1km mark (which would have meant getting the same time as the pack) and thereby lost 48 seconds, and the lead, to his teammate Tom Danielson. Australia's Graeme Brown took another stage and Canada's Gord Fraser took eighth. Roland Green (Canada) continues to wear the Mountain Jersey.
