August 4, 2005 – Some updates about the Western National Series #3, Airdrie. The Canadian Cycling Association (CCA) wants to inform all members that the BMX Western National #3 in Airdrie, AB is reschedule for August 13th.

1. All BC riders registered in Airdrie for the June 19th race will get their out of province race credited without a reimbursement if they don’t want to compete again in Airdrie.

2. All riders who already paid for Airdrie on June 19th will be entitled to race at no charge, but no reimbursement will be provided if they don’t show up.

2005 BMX World Championship, Paris, France

The CCA wants to congratulate all athletes who represented Canada at the BMX Worlds last week-end in Paris. Note the tremendous performance of a few riders such as Samantha Cools, 5th in the Elite Cruiser women 19 and +, Tory Nyhaug, 1st in 13 year old 20 inches Boys and 3rd in the 13-14 cruiser Boys and Peter Jensen, 1st in the 45 and + cruiser men class.
