May 19, 2017 – George Bennett (Nzl) Team LottoNl-Jumbo took over the race lead placing 4th in the 24km ITT on the penultimate Stage 6 won by Jonathan Dibben (Gbr) Team Sky with Brent Bookwalter (USA) BMC Racing Team in second and Andrew Talansky (USA) Cannondale-Drapac in third. Matteo Dal Cin (Can) Rally Cycling was the top Canuck in 26th.

Bennett has a solid 35-second lead over Rafal Majka (Pol) Bora-Hansgrohe in second with Talansky just behind in 3rd at 36 seconds back. The top Canadian overal is Adam De Vos (Can) Rally Cycling in 22nd
