March 24, 2006 – Yesterday, Belgian police conducted a widespread raid on several top Belgian professionals, finding a plethora of banned performance enhancing drugs like EPO, HGH, and insulin. Although no names were released, the Belgian newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen, and AFPE revealed it was riders from teams such as Rabobank, Unibet, Palmans and Fidea.

One name that was made public, according to AFPE, was former Belgian cycling champion Geert Omloop. His team, Unibet.com, said that he will be fired if any doping products were found
