February 4, 2006 – Bicycles Without Borders, a non-profit subsidiary of Western Canada’s leading mountain bike tour operator “Fernie Fat-Tire Adventures,” is soliciting bicycle donations and financial support in order to assist in their goal of distributing bicycles to needy families in developing countries in Central and South America.

BWB is seeking donations of well-maintained used bicycles – or new bikes – as well as monetary contributions to assist with the shipping costs of sending the bikes. Additionally, all 2006 one-week and two-week tours booked with Fernie Fat-Tire Adventures will result in a $10 donation to BWB.
