The Victoria BC based trade cycling team has achieved National recognition for winning the 2013 Canadian National Time Trial Championships with Curtis Dearden and the 2014 Canadian National Sprint Challenge with Cody Canning.  The team has also claimed the BC Premier Series overall title and BC Criterium Championships with Dylan Davies and the BC Road Cycling Championships title with Cody Canning.

In addition, the team has received special invitations to the Tour of Alberta with the addition of two AI/RH athletes to the Canadian National Cycling Team roster: Jordan Cheyne and Cody Canning.

The team is looking to bolster its existing program with male/female BC based cyclists ranked at the Elite Cat 1-2 level who are committed to a full road racing schedule in Western Canada/USA from February to September 2015.    Emphasis will be placed on U25 athletes for the Elite program, however athletes older than 25 years will be considered on a case by case basis.

Selected team members will be fully supported with equipment, travel, and accommodation per the finalized team racing calendar.

The team is planning to expand its racing program by registering as a Cycling Canada Trade Team for eligibility at the Tour de Beauce, in addition to attending some major UCI/NCR/NCC events in the Western United States.

Key goals for the team will include a top ten finish at a major North American UCI cycling event,  podium finish at BC Superweek, successfully defending the BC Road/Criterium titles, winning Canadian National Criterium Championships, and reclaiming the Canadian National Time Trial Championship title.

All interested athletes are encouraged to send a race resume to Jon Watkin and provide details on personal race goals and expectations. Details of the program are available by contacting Jon @ russhayseliteracing@gmail.com
