March 24, 2016 – The Accent Inns/Russ Hay’s Cycling Team p/b Champion System kicked off the 2016 season with their new team kit during the month of March with several podium results at the Escape Velocity Devo Spring Series. The first race of the series began on February 27 with the Hougen East Road Race. New addition to the team, Amiel Flett, took the pack sprint for 3rd place ahead of a stacked field inclucing racers from the Professional HR Block Cycling Team. On February 28, Amiel continued his show of good form by placing 5th in the Aldergrove Short Road Race.

On March 5th, Amiel continued on his impressive path of performance by finishing 2nd in the River Road Road Race in a fast and furious sprint showdown. With the weather taking a turn for the worst, team veteran, Dylan Cunningham became the team’s top finisher in the Thunderbird Road Race on March 12 with a solid 8th place.
