March 4, 2008 – On Saturday, April 19, please join PacificSport Victoria in Celebrating Women in Sport (WinS). Hosted by the Victoria Conference Centre, this not-for-profit event will celebrate and connect women and girls of all ages in all stages of long term athlete development.

Bring your daughters! PacificSport Victoria invites you to join us in celebrating the past, present and future athletic accomplishments of women and girls in Greater Victoria. From School Sport Teams and Local Sport Organizations to National Team members, Olympians and Paralympians to our Active for Life population. Victoria has a dominant culture of successful women at all levels of long term athlete development.

Special guests of the evening will include the Canadian Women’s Field Hockey Team and inductees from the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame.
