Thank You Riders!

2009 Pedal 100 for Heart and Stroke Raises over $45,000

The Niagara office of the HSFO and Pedal Magazine sincerely thank you for Putting Your Hearts into our annual Pedal 100 for Heart & Stroke event on Sunday, Aug. 16. A total of 511 riders took part and made the day an incredible success raising $45,096.50! Again a giant THANK YOU to all of our amazing participants, donors and volunteers who made this happen!

We’d also like to thank our community partners such as Ron’s No Frills, Canada Bread Company Limited, Astral Media, Zehr’s Pen Centre, Enterprise Car Rental, SNAP Niagara Falls, Home Depot St.Catharines, Home Hardware-Hartzel Rd., Aquatrue, Sun-Rype, OPMA, A&P Montrose Rd, Thornton’s Cycle & Sports Centre, Lococo’s and Rosalie’s Fine Foods.

Congratulations to Kathy Kerby who is the winner of the West Jet prize! Congratulations also goes out to Rizwana Choudry who is the winner of The Secret Garden Restaurant in Niagara Falls gift certificate.
