Canada’s Parisien Wins Stage 5 at Volta Ciclista a Catalunya World Tour – Martin Maintains GC Lead

March 22, 2013 (Lleid, Spain) – Canada’s Francois Parisien (Can) Team Argos-Shimano pulled off the victory today on the 156.5km Stage 5 of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya from Rialp to Lleid for the biggest win of his career.

He won the finishing sprint ahead of second-place Samuel Dumoulin (Fra) Ag2R La Mondiale, and Stéphane Poulhies (Fra) Cofidis Solutions Credits in third. Daniel Martin (Irl) Garmin-Sharp continues to hold the overall GC lead.
