Canada’s Rhae Shaw Joins Vanderkitten for 2013

December 18, 2012 (Berkeley, California) – Vanderkitten Athletics will enter year 7 of sponsoring an Elite Women’s Cycling team in the 2013 season, competing in NRC and NCC events as well as select UCI events. Vanderkitten will comprise 12 athletes from USA, New Zealand and Canada, racing across the USA and Internationally.

The face of Ophelia Vanderkitten, representing “Women Who Kick Ass” has adorned the athletic and casual wear of dancers, runners, cyclists and motorsport athletes across the globe for the better part of a decade.

In 2013 Vanderkitten will ride ultra premium bikes from Italian manufacturer Wilier Triestina including the Zero.7, Zero.9 and Twin Blade.

Sophie Williamson and Kate Chilcott will kick off the Vanderkitten year at the Calder Stewart Bike NZ Elite Road National Championships in Christchurch, NZ on the 12th of January.

The first team event will be GP San Miguel 27th February, followed by Vuelta Ciclista a El Salvador before Vanderkitten tackles the first NRC race of the year, Redlands Cycling Classic in California.
