September 28, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – With the introduction of Mario Cipollini’s own line of bikes to the Canadian market, the legendary Super Mario himself was on hand for the Grand Opening of the North American MCipollini boutique on Yorkville Ave. in Toronto last night.

Friends and fans enjoyed a glass and many photo opps with the Lion King while taking in the beautiful MCipollini machines in the heart of downtown TO’s uber chic district. The weekend celebrations also include an organized ride with the beloved Cipo – one of the greatest sprinters of all time – on Sunday, September 30 in conjunction with Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate – more here.

B1 Group, the North American distributor, recently brought the curvaceous MCipollini line of bikes to Canada and now to the USA. The new MCipollini bike line, developed by Italy’s world-renowned sprint champion, Mario Cipollini, sponsors the Cipollini-Giambenini-Gauss women’s race team and the men’s UCI Pro Continental team Farnese Vini-Selle Italia.

The line-up includes the top end RB1000, the RB800, the Logos, the Speed and the all new Bond. The suggested retail for the all-carbon frames start at $5,450 while complete bikes range from $8,500 to close to $20,000 for a top-of-the-line model with lightweight wheels and Campy EPS electronic groupo.

Drop by the retail showroom at 70 Yorkville Ave. in Toronto or visit www.b1group.ca to drool over Cipo’s sexy line of bikes and see what makes Mario still go fast after all of these years.
