London 2012 Olympic Games Men’s TT Full Results – Wiggins Takes Gold

August 01, 2012 (London, UK) – Tour de France winner, Bradley Wiggins (Great Britain), gave the home town crowd what they came for delivering a resounding gold medal performance in the men’s 44km ITT leaving no doubt as to who is in charge. Tony Martin (Germany), the reigning men’s world TT champ came closest at 42s behind Wiggins with the winner’s Sky Procycling and GBR teammate Christopher Froome adding icing to the cake winning the bronze. Canadian star, Ryder Hesjedal, did not have one of his best days finishing 28th.

    Wiggins and Froome have had a great Summer. Congratulations to them both on their TDF and Olympic successes. They’ve gained a lot of well earned respect for British cycling.
