Pedal’s 2012 Tour de France Contest Win a Cervelo S5 – FINAL Chance EXTENDED

July 06, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – Due the massive unfortunate crash today on Stage 6 at the Tour we have extended the deadline to register or revise your team until 12 midnight EST on Friday, July 6.

We’re excited to announce that contest entries are up dramatically over last year so don’t miss your chance to win the Grand Prize in Pedal’s 2012 Tour de France Contest – a Cervelo S5 valued at $4,800. The new S5 is one of the hottest news bikes at the Tour.

There are lots of great prizes to be won including a SRAM Force Group worth $1,389 and a pair of Easton EA90 SL Wheels valued at $990/pr – check out the full prize list is below.

Register or revise your 9-member team by Friday, July 6, 2012 (Stage 6) at 12 Midnight EST. Score points based on your team’s performance throughout the Tour, June 30-July 22, and be eligible to win.

    Feeling a bit jobbed. Was travelling July 6 but heard of the terrible crash and its results. Did NOT think there would suddenly be a change of rules for contest so did NOT make changes. I WAS checking email and WOULD obviously have made changes had I been informed. To be fair you should have notified ALL contestants if you were changing the rules. Thx

    I believe that the original registration/modifications deadline was 10 pm EST on July 6 so the extension was an additional 2 hours.

    The crashes are terrible news for everyone and I’m sure anyone who signed up for this contest would give back their loot to see their favourite riders back in the race. Hopefully, they’ll heal up for London.
