Sunny King Criterium Results – Canada’s Ewart 4th and Albrecht 8th

April 23, 2012 (Anniston, AL) – Erica Allar (RideClean / PatentIt.com) won the Sunny King Criterium on Saturday, followed in second place by Optum Pro Cycling’s Jade Wilcoxson (Optum Pro Cycling). Wilcoxson was supported by Optum teammates and Canucks Annie Ewart, who placed fourth, and Lex Albrecht, eighth.

The men’s race saw Issac Howe (Kenda/5-Hour Energy Pro Cycling) score the top spot, with Carlos Alzate (Team Exergy) and Kyle Wamsley (Jamis/Sutter Home) second and third, respectively. The Sunny King Criterium was the second stop on the women’s NRC crit calendar and the third event for the men. The race is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
