April 20, 2012 (Monterey, CA) – Alison Powers (NOW and Novartis for MS) won the women’s  75.32km Stage 2 road race and continues to lead the women’s race. Heather Logan- Sprenger (Exergy TWENTY) lead the Canadian women in 16th and sits 14th overall.

In the men’s 110.58km race on Stage 2 it was Matt Cooke (USA) Team Exergy taking the win Jordan Brochu (Can) EKOI.com-Gaspesien the top Canuck in 43rd on the day and 42nd overall.
