August 31, 2010 – The 7thgroove/RE:FORM Body Clinic Cycling Team would like to formally thank its many sponsors and supporters in 2010: RE:FORM Body Clinic, 7thgroove.com, Cycle Power, La Vie en Forme Outdoor Fitness, Giro –Outdoor Gear Canada, Christine Schloen RMT, CycleLogik Racing Inc., Biemme Canada, and many other community supporters. We have been very fortunate to have the support of so many enthusiastic and supportive women’s cycling fans and supporters throughout our first season.

Our inaugural year was one of great success with many podium placings throughout the year. The team finished on the podium in New York, Vermont, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and Wisconsin this season. We raced at the UCI sanctioned Visite du Gatineau time trial and road race against some of the best cyclists in the world in front of our home crowd. The team competed in and performed well in a number of US NRC stage races and
criteriums.

We are pleased to announce that our major sponsors have confirmed their support for 2011, with some new supporters coming on this year. Details will be announced later this fall. We are still seeking new partners for next year; please contact us if you are interested in getting involved.

Our goal is to provide excellent opportunities for women to experience high quality racing in a supportive team environment, and to develop the sport of women’s elite cycling. In 2011, our objective is to build a strong team of women who want to develop and race together at the elite level while supporting each athlete’s high performance objectives. We would like to encourage riders to contact us to discuss our well supported women’s team in 2011.
