February 27, 2014 (Vancouver, BC) – WinterBike is a not for profit, annual invitational networking event and party for all those who play a role in the bicycle industry or community in B.C. It began with a conversation over a beer in North Vancouver when the question was asked; why don’t we have a local gathering for cycle industry folk? It would be nice to have a chance to connect in the off season for a few beers, some face time with those we deal with and a chance to do some networking.

Thanks to great sponsors and supporters, WinterBike began in 2011 and is now in its 4th year!

In 2013 we saw over 600 attendees from all corners of the biking community. This year we are aiming for 700+ WinterBike #4 is on Thursday, March 6th, 2014. This is to coincide with the Vancouver Bike Show (March 8-9, 2014) and once again invitations will be extended to:
– Bicycle shops
– Event organizers, clubs and cycling associations
– Manufacturers, suppliers and distributors
– Advocacy groups and cycle specific not-for-profits.
– Media and pro riders
– Vancouver Bike Show vendors

When and Where?
Thursday March 6th, 2014
6 p.m. till 12 p.m.
Downtown Vancouver
Invites will be sent and online registration opened late January 2014

What’s involved?
– 600-800 industry insiders who make the decisions regarding the cycling world in B.C.
– Local cycle industry professionals gathering to connect with new and existing friends in the bike community
over drinks and appies
