2nd Annual 24 Hours at Albion

August 18, 2005 – Chico Racing is excited to host one of the largest 24 hour mountain bike team relays in North America this weekend at Albion Hills Conservation Area. Over 1,800 riders are confirmed for this 2nd annual event. Ontario currently plays host to the largest 24 hour mountain bike events in North America – both hosted at Albion Hills Conservation Area and promoted by Chico Racing! The race starts on noon at Saturday finishing up noon on Sunday as teams ranging in size from ten down to the soloist will ride as many laps as possible over the 24 period on a 16.5 km course.

This event brings outdoor enthusiasts together for a race, but more importantly it is a 2-day festival packed with competition, entertainment, camping and camaraderie celebrating the outdoors and the sport of mountain biking. There will also be a kid’s race, bands, fun contests, and shopping through on site retail setups. A new exciting finish to the 24-hour course is a technical section that will make for great photo opportunities and an action packed finish line.
