2017 MTB Worlds Downhill Final Results – Canada’s Miller Wins GOLD

September 10, 2017 (Cairns, Australia) – Miranda Miller delivered a stunning GOLD medal for Canada in the Elite Women’s final as no one could touch her fabulous run. The reigning Canadian champ’s victory marks the first Elite women’s title for Canada since Cindy Devine won way back in 1990 at the inaugural DH Worlds in Durango, CO.

In the Junior Men’s competition defending champ Finnley Iles (Canada) crashed and finished 10th as the title went to winner Matt Walker (Great Britain). Loic Bruni (France) captured the Elite men’s crown as Samuel Thibault was the top Canuck in 53rd.
