July 16, 2017 (East Hereford, Quebec) – Elyse Nieuwold (ON) Angry Johnny’s Evolution p/b Norco&Horseshoe defending her title claiming the victory in the women’s 82km 2017 XCM Canadian Championships on Sunday, in East Hereford, Quebec. Her teammate Heather Gray (ON) finished second with Caroline Villeneuve (QC) in third.

Topping the men’s field was Alexandre Vialle (QC), the 2015 U23 Men’s national champ, who took the win over veteran Marathon rider, Cory Wallace (AB) Kona in second followed by Marc-andré Daigle (QC) in third.
