2016 Road World Championships Women’s TTT Results – Canuel Wins Gold & Numainville Bronze for Canada

October 09, 2016 (Doha, Qatar) – Canada’s Karol-Ann Canuel took home her third TTT gold medal as Boels Dolmans Cycling Team won the 40km Team Time Trial at the UCI Road World Championships which got underway today in Doha, Qatar.

Fellow Canuck Joëlle Numainville won her first bronze medal at the Road Worlds as she helped power her Cervelo Bigla Pro Cycling Team to third place on the day for their first ever Worlds medal as well. Canyon-SRAM Racing claimed the silver. Finishing 5th was Twenty16 – Ridebiker with Canadians Annie Foreman-Mackey and Alison Jackson on board.
