2016 MTB World Championships Elite Men’s XCO Full Results – Bouchard 20th

July 03, 2016 (Nové Mesto, CZE) – Leandre Bouchard led Team Canada with a strong career-best 20th-place finish as Switzerland’s Nino Schurter defended his rainbow jersey in the 27.4km Elite Men’s with a decisive win over Jaroslav Kulhavy (Czech Republic) in second with Julien Absalon (France) claiming 3rd. Bouchard’s best previous Worlds result was as a U23 when he finished 8th at Hafjell, Norway in 2014. This was Schurter’s 5th world title.
