2015 Pan Am Games Road Race – Detailed Map and START LISTS

July 25, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – The final cycling event of the 2015 Pan Am Games, the road race, is scheduled for later today with the women starting at 1:05pm (13:05) and the men at 4:05pm (16:05). The link below to the large map shows the detailed route that takes riders along the 16.5km course through High Park and back to the start finish on Lakeshore.

The women will complete 82.5 km (5 laps) with Allison Beveridge, Kirsti Lay and Jasmin Glaesser are racing for Canada. The men are slated to race 165km (10 laps) and Team Canada’s Rémi Pelletier-Roy, Hugo Houle, Guillaume Boivin, Sean MacKinnon will also be in the hunt for medals – start lists below.

Houle, Glaesser and MacKinnon won Pan Am ITT gold, silver and bronze – interviews here along with Boivin – and cycling has contributed 17 medals to Canada’s overall total (10G 3S 4B) for a record Pan Am Games performance.

Most access to watch today’s races is free but you need tickets for the start/finish. When we checked yesterday there were no tickets but today there are apparently still some available. GO CANADA.
