September 21, 2014 (Ponferrada, Spain) – BMC Racing Team drove home another victory for the USA in the men’s 57.1km TTT taking the win over Orica-GreenEdge led by Canada’s Svein Tuft, with defending champs Omega Pharma-QuickStep Cycling settling for third.

BMC laid down the fastest time as Sky moved into second and then the anticipated rain began. Orica prevailed to take over second place and Omega was not able to make it a hat-trick but edged out Sky for the final podium spot.
