September 09, 2011 (Copenhagen, Denmark) – Canada scored three gold medals in the opening days of the 2011 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark. Shelley Gautier (Canada) won the Women’s T1 15.2km time trial, while compatriot Marie-Eve Croteau (Canada) grabbed gold in the Women’s T2 time trial event.
In the 30.6km Women’s B time trial, Canada’s Robbi Weldon with pilot Lyne Bessette snatched the victory. Canada also took bronze in the Women’s C4W time trial, courtesy of Marie-Claude Molnar (Canada).
