2010 UCI Road Worlds Participation Quotas Released

August 17, 2010 – Based on the current qualification regulations, the International Cycling Union (UCI) has established the list of the qualified countries, and their respective quotas of riders, in the Men Elite, Women Elite, and Men Under 23 categories, for the road races at the 2010 UCI Road World Championships to be held in Melbourne, Australia, from September 29-October 3.

Canada’s quotas are as follows
– Elite Men’s Road Race – 3 starters (from 5 qualifiers)
– Elite Women’s Road Race – 6 starters (from 12 qualifiers)
– U23 Men’s Road Race – 4 starters (from 8 qualifiers)
