2008 UCI Track Worlds – Day 5 Final – Results

March 30, 2008 (Manchester, UK) – Here are some initial results from Day 5, the final day of competition at the 2008 UCI Track World Championships with the women’s Keirin, women’s Scratch race, men’s Kilo, and men’s Omnium (200m TT, 5km Scratch race, 3km Individual Pursuit, 15km Points race, 1000m time trial) being held.

Canada’s Travis Smith placed second in the men’s Omnium 200m TT, 12th in the 5km Scratch race, and 17th in 3km Individual Pursuit so far and sits in 12th overall, with two events remaining.

Canada’s Gina Grain is competing in the women’s Scratch race and won silver in this event in 2006.
