2008 Spring Camp and NCCP Level 1 Coaching Course

March 25, 2008 – The 2008 Spring Camp will once again open the season for Atlantic Canada’s best young riders. This year, with the addition of the provincial tier program, the focus will shift primarily to this group of athletes. The Elite group, also invited, will be focussing more onto testing, sport science and riding with the Centre’s Head Coach. The development group, with the Centre’s Assistant Coach will see information session, season planning session, and riding. See attached for complete details.

Again this year, we will hold our traditional group ride to the Fundy National Park. This ride will take place on Sunday, April 20th. To save time, on Saturday evening, we will be moving from Dieppe to Riverside-Albert, where we will be lodge at the Broadleaf Lodge. This will enable us to start riding earlier on Sunday morning.

During the camp, Velo NB will also be hosting a NCCP Level 1 coaching course (Road). Please, contact Velo NB for more information regarding this part of the camp.

The National Cycling Centre apologizes for the current status of its web site. Some work is currently being done to complete the update and new look for 2008. We hope to have everything ready in time for on-line registration to be possible, if not, please send via fax or regular mail.
