January 4, 2005 – The Redlands Bicycle Classic is proud to announce PoolGel(tm) as our Title Sponsor for the 2005 Redlands Bicycle Classic.
PoolGel(tm) is located in Loma Linda and was established internationally in 1997 and in the United States in 2003. John Vermaak is the Director of Operations. PoolGel(tm) is the ONLY continuous solution for year-round, sparkling clean crystal clear water, and reduced pool maintenance.
PoolGel(tm) is a proprietary blend of conventional water care ingredients, incorporated within a unique GEL delivery mechanism, a combination that allows PoolGel(tm) to deploy these trusted, proven technologies, using a revolutionary Sustained Release application.
We are very excited to have a local company as our Title Sponsor, as well as one that will enable us to again have TV coverage and a broader media base. PoolGel(tm) was also a major sponsor for the Elite Nationals Race this past June. They have enjoyed tremendous exposure and success from that event and have now stepped forward to support the annual Redlands Bicycle Classic event.
The PoolGel(tm) Redlands Bicycle Classic will be presented over four days in 2005, March 31 through April 3. The four stages most popular with the racers and fans will be held: The Mount Rubidoux Time Trial, the Oak Glen Road Race, the Sunset Road Race and the Downtown Redlands Criteriums. Other races to be held will be the downtown criteriums for USCF licensed riders and public races for amateur riders of all ages. The Tour of the Canyons Fun Ride will not be held this year.
The Expo will again be offered this year on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd. We will feature an assortment of vendor and souvenir booths and a variety of great foods for all to enjoy.
